The negative sequence overvoltage relays of the series DVL are made for the protection of electric machines and lines against unbalance of a three-phase supply voltage. Therefore they operate both with a phase interruption and with an incorrect sequence order.
The operation is delayed with independent time, in order to allow the coordination with other protection relays.
