The residual current relays series DIS are intended for the protection of generators against earth faults in the stator windings. Owing to their low pass filter, they are insensitive to harmonic components often present in industrial electric plants.
They are suitable as well to earthed neutral systems as insulated neutral or impedance earthed; they can be connected to a ring type summing transformer or to the common of the phase CT's.
