The directional overcurrent relays type DSB are intended for the protection of ring mains, or variable structure network, against short circuits. They are available as two- or three-phase types.
The independent time delay allows to build up selective protection systems with time grading. Thanks to the blocking circuit, it is also possible to build up several selective protection schemes of the acceleration logic type, by pilot wire connection between feeders.
