The relay type SIF is intended for the protection of electric lines and machines against overloads, shortcircuits and earth faults. The relay SIF5600 features the following principal characteristics:

• three input measuring circuits for the line currents;
• measuring circuit, provided with a band pass filter, for the residual current;
• protection functions and final relays completely programmable by the user;
• selectable operation curves with independent or dependent time as well for the overcurrent as for the earth fault function;
• sequence of event logging;
• optional blocking circuit, to perform accelerated protection schemes;
• continuous monitoring of internal circuits;
• serial communication circuit RS485 with MODBUS© RTU protocol;
• CB Control (OPEN-CLOSE)with dedicated keylock switch
• PC Window-based SW to ease relay setup, event and record retriving.
